Ce type de probl\u00e8me trouve un int\u00e9r\u00eat dans l&rsquo;industrie de l&rsquo;hydro-\u00e9lectricit\u00e9. Par exemple, dans le cas du d\u00e9tournement d&rsquo;une rivi\u00e8re, on veut \u00eatre en mesure d&rsquo;\u00e9valuer l&rsquo;impact sur la variation du d\u00e9bit car cela peut avoir une influence sur l&rsquo;exploitation et les co\u00fbts de production de l&rsquo;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Description du projet (Simulation d&rsquo;un cas tr\u00e8s complexe d&rsquo;un \u00e9coulement)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le but du projet est d&rsquo;\u00e9tablir un benchmark pour la validation de sch\u00e9mas num\u00e9riques dans le domaine des \u00e9coulements \u00e0 ciel ouvert. Simulation d&rsquo;un cas r\u00e9el, rivi\u00e8re qui est situ\u00e9e dans le Nord du Qu\u00e9bec. La raison principale de ce choix, la tr\u00e8s grande qualit\u00e9 des donn\u00e9es de terrain \u00e0 notre disposition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le probl\u00e8me comporte de nombreuses difficult\u00e9s telles qui le rendent difficile \u00e0 simuler:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>largeur de la rivi\u00e8re variable;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>pr\u00e9sence d&rsquo;un ressaut hydraulique;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>bathym\u00e9trie complexe (pr\u00e9sence de fort gradient);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>plusieurs r\u00e9gimes: torrentiel, fluvial (ressaut hydraulique);<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Le tron\u00e7on de la rivi\u00e8re s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9 pour ce test (cas r\u00e9el) est une section de 2km et est situ\u00e9 dans le Nord du Qu\u00e9bec (Canada). Le tron\u00e7on de la rivi\u00e8re a \u00e9t\u00e9 choisi pour la complexit\u00e9 de son \u00e9coulement et pour la qualit\u00e9 des donn\u00e9es de terrain disponible. Les \u00e9l\u00e9vations (topographie\/bathym\u00e9trie) du terrain sont repr\u00e9sent\u00e9es par les lignes d&rsquo;isovaleur (les diff\u00e9rentes lignes que l&rsquo;on voit sur la figure). Les points <strong>\u00ab\u00a0R\u00a0\u00bb(R1-R9)<\/strong> en rouge sur la figure, sont des points ou ont \u00e9t\u00e9 mesur\u00e9s les hauteurs d&rsquo;eau (niveau de l&rsquo;eau) pour un r\u00e9gime d&rsquo;\u00e9coulement donn\u00e9. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Section transversale de la rivi\u00e8re. Valeur de la bathym\u00e9trie interpol\u00e9e versus r\u00e9elle. On constate que la g\u00e9om\u00e9trie contient de forts gradients, ce qui rend ce probl\u00e8me tr\u00e8s difficile \u00e0 r\u00e9soudre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>R\u00e9sultats de Simulation<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Les \u00e9quations de St-Venant sont int\u00e9gr\u00e9s num\u00e9riquement par une m\u00e9thode aux \u00e9l\u00e9ments finis de type Galerkin. R2000-6, September 2000<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Abstract<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>This paper reports on a rigourous field testing of AquaDyn for a rapidly varied shallow water flow in a complex river geometry. AquaDyn, a Surface Water Modeling Software,<\/em> <em>uses a finite element code to solve numerically the Saint-Venant equations. The river reach selected for the field test is a 2 km section of the Sainte-Marguerite river located in the province of Quebec. This river<\/em> <em>reach was chosen for the complexity of its river flow and for the quality of the field data available. The reproduction of the observed hydraulic flow of the Sainte-Marguerite river reach is a strong validation for shallow-water codes. The reach exhibits torrential flow, transition to fluvial condition through an hydraulic jump, complex bed elevation including an island and flood planes.
